Original artwork description:

The watercolour painting portrays a wreath of thorns with large thorns protruding from each branch. Perched on the thorns are several crows emitting piercing screams, their sinister looks encapsulating the ominous atmosphere. However, in the centre of the wreath is a small but vivid sunflower, boldly reaching for the sun as if oblivious to the surrounding chaos. The image symbolizes the idea that faith and hope can be a saving force, even in the most difficult situations.

To my great joy and pride, in July 2023, I took part in the international watercolor festival Freedom Ukraine 2023, which also involved more than 300 artists from 42 countries and I passed the short list of selected artists! Winners will be announced in August 2023
