She was 9 years old when she told me that magic didn't exist. Then in the same breath, she told me that another kind of magic did exist ; That maybe the magic from magicians was indeed make-believe, but what had saved our lives on the water that day, was real magic. That iridescent light, that breath of relief. Perhaps it was a fairy that had showed us the way.

This painting of the dancing waves and misty seas is about that powerful force that maybe we call, magic. It was painted on Corsica Island overlooking the Mediterranean sea using a blend acrylics, oil pastels and sand.
The artwork is unmounted canvas that can easily be remounted on stretchers (painting continues along edges, total dimensions 69 x 97cm) or placed under a frame.
The artwork is signed on the front and back of the painting.
