Artwork description:

This is an original reduction linocut which is an aerial view of a vintage fairground, complete with carousel horses and chair-o-plane.

This is a limited edition created via the Reduction Linocut method of printing. This uses one piece of lino which is progressively cut and printed , destroying the lino in the process. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted as the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

Materials used:

Lino and water washable ink on Japanese Similie paper
