This artwork titled "Fade into You" represents an alchemical chromatic triad composed of the masculine color of the microcosm (turquoise), the masculine color of the macrocosm (orange), and the spiritual feminine color of the macrocosm (silver). The latter symbolizes the moon that disappears into the heart of man, in perpetual contrast with the vigorous color of the Gods. The connection and opposition of these hues are expressed through overlapping strokes.
It was created with fluorescent acrylic paint and modeling paste to give a subtle effect of incongruous relief.
The canvas measures 60x60 cm (24"x24"), unframed, painted on the edges.
