Original artwork description:

This thickly impastoed painting from the late Cornish period has been criticized as pornographic (the eye of the beholder?). It is actually a painterly adaption of a theatrical promotional photograph. However, I welcome all views. As with 'Woman at a gate' it remains one of my favourite works. It is painted on wood and robustly framed by myself so is therefore quite heavy.

Materials used:

Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
