My feelings and inner attitude to events in life associated with the changes and aspirations of my country. Unfortunately, new beginnings, aspirations and positive shifts in the country have not been realized... In this piece, I tapped into the raw, visceral energies of expressionism through my use of oil paints. The juxtaposition of the bold reds against calming blues captures the perennial clash and coexistence of passion and tranquility in life. It’s designed to evoke emotion, prompting reflection on one's own experiences of conflict and peace. When welcomed into a home, this painting promises to infuse any space with a dynamic intensity that invites and challenges viewers to engage deeply with their inner selves.
