Original artwork description:

There is a strength in this drawing that suggests stand-offishness! The model is upright, erect, stiff. Haughty almost in attitude. The leg falling in. The colours chosen to give extra spikiness.

Like many of the old masters, paper has been used on both side. The reverse of the piece also has a haughty drawing of a different model in two poses on top of each other. As she turned captured in black, burnt umber and white. Does not show through to other side. Explained here so you have no surprise on receipt. You can show either picture in a frame of your choice.

Pastels on green sugar paper 42 x 30 cm (16 x 12") on the front and 30 x 42 on the rear.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in window cardboard (so the pastel is not smudged) depending on where it is being sent to.
