Original artwork description:

Memories of travels to Venice and other beautiful cities in beloved Italy inspired me to create a series of small nostalgic acrylic paintings and collages. I used pages of tourist catalogs with photographs of the facades of Venetian palazzo, drawings of a vintage English bird's guide, details of my early artworks, my sketch of portraits of young women with big sad eyes, which I first cut out of thick wrapping paper and then sewed onto white cardboard. The new reality made us live in a flat two-dimensional world. We often see our beloved people only on a computer or smartphone monitor, and we travel only in our memories and dreams. But all joys will definitely come back to us one day.

This painting needs a frame (and a mat perhaps).
