Citadel in Il-Rabat on the island of Gozo, Malta. I had been looking for a view of the citadel for a long time. we had been to several places, but nothing appealed to me. this is, in my opinion, a stunning view from the municipal cemetery. Without thinking much, i sat down between the gravestones and painted this landscape. it was a pity that i had to return to Malta, because the cemetery with its decorated graves also deserves to be immortalized on a canvas.


An acrylic painting on loose canvas painted without a stretcher or solid base. It is shipped rolled. I recommend framing the canvas under the glass like a paper drawing , or laminate on an MDF board. A motif from my painting trip to the island of Malta.

Format approx 49x58cm. Original, hand painted.
