Original artwork description:

The latest in my series of A4 paintings of ice lollies depicts the classic Fab, an image I've painted in various forms throughout my career. This A4 representation shows it in 3D, with a bite taken out, making it extra tempting.

The only difference in this updated version is that I've drawn the hundreds-and-thousands, or sprinkles, using Posca pens in a pointillist dots style, which looks very satisfying. As usual the Fab is based against my trademark light blue background.

The end result is a colourful painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone with a sweet tooth.

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper, and is signed and dated on the back as shown.

PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame for display purposes.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
