Original artwork description:

Very highly textured semi-abstract cityscape. Touches of gold. A real individual piece. Would add a dramatic focal point to home or office. Edges painted so no need to frame and includes a signed certificate of authenticity. The buildings of New York and atmospheric light inspired me to paint this.

Semiotic description: The ideal leads with a dual iconicism, giving way to foregrounded symbolism, and leaves the viewer with the whole indexed in the real.
