Recently a friend posted a painting by an Artist I’d not heard of. The painting was of a woman sitting at a corner Cafe Table. I recalled several years ago, painting a series for the Galerie that was representing my work in Paris, Galerie Breheret. My own series was inspired by some similar pieces done by a Edward Hopper, set in Restaurants and Cafes in NYC in about the 1930’s... The palette here is intentionally more narrow and less Bright, than my are my typical works. The edges of the canvas are painted so the piece can be hung unframed, if preferred...
