Anyone who knows me understands my long-standing love for gardening, especially with exotic plants and trees. Traveling through Tanzania was a thrilling experience, offering me the chance to see some wonderfully strange and beautiful plants, both wild and cultivated. I was enchanted by the sight of giraffes nibbling on the greens of spiky acacia trees and the unique, stubby shape of the baobab trees. One of my favorite moments was picking a bouquet of tiny, colorful wildflowers in the Serengeti and setting them in a cup in our bush camp dining area. Their vibrant colors brought me joy.
