According to the book of Exodus, the manna was the bread sent by God to the Israelites every day during the forty years that they wandered in the desert, they received every day, unless that is the seventh day Saturday, so it should collect double portion on the sixth day, that is two per head, the manna had the taste and appearance of what one wanted most, I have a metaphorical representation in my artwork here.
