This extra-large colour field painting represents Inga’s search for new medium in transferring her emotions to the viewer. “Ex Boyfriends” series are made from pieces of boyfriend jeans (or better say ex boyfriends), stitched together over the stretched canvas and then painted with enamel. Such approach creates a unique pattern and allows to play with various shades of black and dark bronze. As a result, the viewer is supposed to look into the painting rather than at it, making you feel how the colour surrounds you, while your eyes continue to search for the patterns in numerous seams and fabric folds.

The artwork is framed and ready to hang. The artwork will be shipped securely packed in a wooden crate. Certificate of Authenticity is included.
