Original mixed media sculpture by Alan Haris British artist, paintings, oils, watercolours, pastel, mixed media and sculptures.
Expressionist sculpture inspired by the pass of time related to the art and its expression. The piece is created using a real vintage Saxo parts, gold and bog wood base. This is a totally unique piece as every part is unique in its own but the viewer will see a new interpretation of each piece put together by the artist. I created these sculptures by using broken or otherwise discarded objects, to give them new or continued life by reworking them as works of art. using Kintsukuroi, to not only repair, but also to celebrate the initial damage with golden emphasis. My work was inspired by knowledge of this art, and a desire to preserve the past, like most of my figurative work. This is a totally unique piece as every part is unique in its own but the viewer will see a new interpretation as partt of a new object of art
