This one felt like I was on a precipice in danger of falling into some sort of abyss OR ascending to the next, loftier, peak. I guess it depends on if you are half full or empty. Living very close to the West Coast must be a large part of it. I think about it but do not want to merely replicate that 'picture'. I want to drill deeper to the essence, the feeling that it provides.
The color fields begin to overlap and then I want to mess it up and still make a beautiful piece. This is the plan anyway.
This is a 18" X 18" box framed oil painting that is fresh off the easel and ready to hang!
