Artwork description:

My local lido on Hampstead Heath in North London where I swim almost every day. I originally visited the Lido to draw and paint it from life for a commission and then I started swimming and haven't stopped.

This is a colour etching and aquatint.

I have redrawn my image onto a grounded zinc plate before putting it in acid which 'bites' the exposed line, forming deep grooves to hold ink. An aquatint was added to achieve the tones and the plate is inked and pulled through an etching press for every print in the limited edition, meaning each one is unique.

Orders are wrapped wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between board and shipped signed and tracked within four days.
