Original artwork description:

Evening Sky is an original oil painting from my series of contemporary abstract landscapes and seascapes. This series is inspired by the natural world, the contours of the land and hills, the sky’s atmosphere and cloud formations, the flow of the sea and rivers. These shapes and forms are abstracted to their energetic essence and combined with the vibrant colors that I love so much.

The sky glows orange, yellow and pink as the sun illuminates the clouds while setting in a vibrant blue sky. A strip of blue water is framed by distant hills and shoreline above a glowing orange and brown foreground. The vibrant colors create dynamic contrast giving both an energetic feeling combined with the calm tranquility of the water reflections.

Painted on a 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted a dark color, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front. Finished with a coat of protective varnish.
