This Acrylic Paint on High Quality 300 gsm Paper painting was done “ en plein air” from the balcony of my apartment in Taipei City, Taiwan. It is a view into one of the small alleys that surround my apartment building. I have noticed this scene many times and really like the different colours and types of shadows that the buildings create. I like the almost blurred effect that was created by delicately overlaying and adding thin layers of transparent Acrylic paint on top of each other, and I purposely refrained from adding Ink or defining the edges of the shapes to maintain this effect.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
