This picture is the first version of a still life with an old lamp. This option is more sketchy and rather expresses my impression and mood, which I experienced when I saw lilac flowers and an old lamp illuminated by evening light. A bouquet of flowers, a lamp and evening shadows, which they cast, made me very happy. And I wanted to convey this evening mood.
