I love the light at this time of year, it looks beautiful when the sun is low and the way that the almost bare branches are silhouetted against it.
In this paining I've decided to use a simple palette of soft, warm yellow with a dark browny/mauve coloured ink for the branches, clouds and grasses.
Painted on top quality textured watercolour paper with a deckle edge, ready to mount and frame to your own taste.
