Original artwork description:

A November evening in the Fens. The sun was going down and the geese were heading off across the flood plain. In the foreground layer upon layer of reeds, grasses, bull rushes and seed heads.
The painting was inspired by one of my many dog walks around Portholme meadow. It's the largest meadow in the UK and is flanked by the Great Ouse and its tributaries on all sides. Huge skies provide a constant visual feast - especially in early Winter.
The painting includes a small amount of gold foiling.
The painting is supplied in a white cream mount with a dark navy inset.
