It is remarkable the subtlety with which light conveys a feeling. This little piece was inspired by a walk in the woods at sunset. A glowing ember cast itself upon the fir with such subtlety that it forever burned itself upon my memory. Here I have memorialized that final evening glow upon a simple little home, its ornate windows peeking through the wooded shadow.
