Watercolor painting “Evening fantasy. Khotyn Fortress” was drawn from life in the Khotyn fortress during my plein air cycling trip across western Ukraine in the summer of 2020.

The work was written from life, but used the method of creativity from imagination. Although there was a fortress in front of my eyes, I painted it in a completely different state of nature. I imagined how it would look at night with the warm illumination of the fortress and tried to embody this fantasy in my drawing.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
