The tension in this work is palpable. All is calm at the point the sun sets over an extreme landscape. The crows appear as ominous silhouettes against the burning yellow sky, the dead, jagged branch accentuate the feeling of unease yet the rabbit seems contented with the last of the suns rays warming her soft fur. Perhaps it is because her foe is on the opposite side of the wild river, will the morning bring a similar scene?
