I love painting market scenes. There are lots of colors and activities going on in a typical Indian market which I love to capture. In this scene, I was captivated by the beautiful golden light falling on the buildings. The vendors selling their colourful wares, the crowd of people, the parked vehicles, all these elements added to the atmosphere of a busy evening market scene.
This is painted on Fabriano Cold-pressed 300 gsm watercolour paper using artist-grade watercolour paints. Signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The colours of the image may vary slightly from the actual painting due to different monitor settings and screen resolution of electronic devices.
