Original artwork description:

In this painting I play with the representation of the figure and the landscape through simple overlapping shapes and symbols to illustrate a sense of interconnectedness.
I use clean lines to help the shapes carry over from one colour to the next, allowing me to overlap various symbols and figures on top of one another. Paul Klee, Matisse, and Henry Moore are consistent influences of mine.
