Bride and wife of Adolf HItler, at age 17 he met Hitler in a photo shoot where he worked as an assistant to the photographer who took pictures of Hitler. During their relationship she tried to commit suicide twice to get Hitler's attention, but never achieved it until the day of her wedding. When the Third Reich collapsed towards the end of the war, Eva Braun swore loyalty to Adolf Hitler and traveled to Berlin to be by his side in the Führerbunker, located under the Reich Chancellery. Given the proximity of the Red Army troops, on April 29, 1945 Braun married Hitler in a brief civil ceremony; she was 33 years old and he was 56. Less than forty hours later, both committed suicide inside the bunker, she with the ingestion of a prussic acid capsule. The German people did not know of Hitler's relationship with Braun until after their deaths. Eva witnessed one of the greatest genocides in the history of mankind.
