Drawing of an european goldfinch (lat. Carduelis carduelis). It is a small passerine bird in the finch family that is native to Europe, North Africa and western and central Asia. It has been introduced to other areas, including Australia, New Zealand and Uruguay. The goldfinch is often depicted in Italian Renaissance paintings of the Madonna and Child. Created using color ballpoint pens and Cretacolor pencils on Fedrigoni paper. This artwork is sold unframed, with certificate of authenticity.
