The Eumenides Series...recently, I have been taking what I technically know about traditional landscape painting, deliberately bending rules and mixing the work with suggestions of my original loves - representational and figurative work. I am looking forward, creating work that (without sounding romantically ridiculous) is soulful. One of the exciting aspects of this latest round of paintings from the series is that the paintings are in reality a little bit small but they feel large. To a painter like me...this is a big deal and what I am constantly trying to achieve.

Eumenides Nº 11

{+} Is created on archival 100% cotton oil paper and oil paint

{+} Will be carefully packaged and arrive flat, not rolled

{+} Signed with full signature and date on the back of artwork

{+} Note: This painting is intended to be matted and framed. The full paper size is 12h x 16w x 0.1d (30.5h x 40.6w cm) however I am suggesting a 0.5 - 1" crop / mat allowance for the framer to cover the edges where I have taped the sides. The interior design images above helps show how the painting could look hung, matted and framed.
