As you can well understand, this sketch is not about soup. It is an allegory of something unpleasant, undesirable.
It's a study about mood. This girl's emotions. Do you remember when you were a child being forced to eat something you didn't like? And throughout your life, you're forced to do things you don't want to do.
But we all have choices. At least at the level of do or don't do. A child often doesn't even have that choice.
