Original artwork description:

I had a go at aquatint (a form of etching) 18 months ago. I loved the scratchy effect that could be achieved by scratching into the metal. Life has got in the way of me getting back to the print studio. I was therefore delighted to be able to capture the effect of a diffused line using a hard conte pastel on a 90g/m2 off-white paper.

This drawing captures the model reclining on her left arm. Pins and needles at the end of this one! So the drawingcaptures that scratchy restlessness. The size given is the paper size as it's difficult to measure an irregular image.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.
