This image forms part of an estuary series inspired by my local Exe Estuary. I became fascinated with the patterns produced in the mud at low tide and also how the estuary seems to gather its own cloud system, extending the horizon and often blurring the boundary between water and sky.
This is a reduction print which means the block is gradually destroyed with each stage of the process. Once the edition is complete no further impressions can be made.
Small edition of 8 only.
Printed on Fabriano Tiepolo 290g paper using oil-based inks.
Despatched flat.
