This is a very special piece for me... Essence of Solitude reflects a place where I seek, and usually find both a sense of calm and a feeling of rejuvenation. The beautiful coast, where sea meets sky, and the birds soar above, is my sanctuary, and something I love to portray on canvas.

This piece depicts an endless blissful view of a serene dusk, revealing hues ranging from vermillion to ochre, on a background of eternal blue. The reflection of the sunset upon the water, as the waves lap upon the shoreline display a blend of teal through to prussian blue, mirroring the soul of the ocean as we see it around our coastline.
I hope this piece allows time for solace and contemplation.


With painted sides and varnish it is ready to hang with no need for a frame. There is a signature on the front and on the reverse is the Title, a date and signature. All my works are accompanied with a unique Certificate of Authenticity.

Painting are gently and individually packaged with commercial recyclable wrap, and their protection is reinforced with strong cardboard packaging to secure safe passage. Paintings are sent tracked, and a signature is requested upon delivery.
