Artwork description:

I saw this dodgy escort card lying on the pavement in a street in Mayfair, London. Not only did it shock me with its graphic content, but the composition of the lines of the pavement and that of the card really attracted me to capture the moment... But, it needed the right pair of legs to cross it to make it a more powerful image. Looking up the road I saw a woman heading towards me and with the sandals and floppy trousers I thought it would be an interesting contrast on so many levels. So, I tucked myself against the wall and waited, hoping she would cross at the right point and I would get my timing right to capture the composition I imagined in my mind.

This was taken using a manual Leica 35mm film camera with Kodak's tri-x film.

Photographs are printed by leading UK printers using traditional chemistry onto award winning Kodak Professional Endura paper. The print is then mounted in a deep bevel conservation grade mount using archival materials. It will fit a standard 20x25cm or 10x8 inch frame.

The print is signed on the front of the mount board as well as the back of the image.
