Erin is named after my one of my lambs, a very lively little lady.

This piece is 120cm long and 40cm wide. The unusual size makes her interesting in regard of her overall shape, as well as the form the paint has taken on. The edges are 7.5cm wide and a feature in their own right.

I used each colour of the rainbow, with some black and white areas to break up the colour. I used cocktail sticks to create the more intricate areas, encouraging the colours to intertwine. Then gravity and manipulation to cover the edges.

When I take 'Erin' in, she makes me feel happy and excited, the burst of colour makes me feel 'alive'. I hope you 'the viewer' feel similarly when you look at her.
