Original artwork description:
Who can resist the lazy, dreamy gaze of sleepy whippets? These two beautiful characters are Eric and Jimmy, one as fluid and graceful as the other. As a dog lover myself I made a request on social media for followers of my work to submit photos of their whippets and lurchers as models for a small collection of prints I intend to produce and this is the first of the set.
The artwork was produced with water soluble crayons and acrylic paint on tinted paper and is framed in light oak under plexiglass. This original has been used for a small run of a hundred limited edition prints and postcards, many of which will be used to raise money for charities such as the Senior Sighthound Project.
