This is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut, inspired by my visit to Morocco and the Sahara desert in 2016. The work is based on a photograph I took from the roof terrace of the Camel's House hostel in the town of Rissani. I loved my stay here and found the people very friendly and accommodating. This work represents good memories for me. A clay wall with triangular gaps cuts across the middle section of the picture, below it is a chair, with a rug behind this on the floor and above it we see the shape of the majestic dunes of the Sahara in black.
This is a limited edition linocut, printed on 315gsm Heritage Bookwhite paper.
Your print will come wrapped in protective tissue paper to reach you in the best condition.
If you have any questions relating to the work before purchase please don't hesitate to ask me.
