Original artwork description:

This small painting is part of the site-specific installation project conceived for the Hobelté huts in Gressoney (Valle d'Aosta) and for the hiking path that crosses them. The painting was installed along the path and on the external walls of the huts together with 13 other small canvases with the aim of raising awareness among people on the topic of transhumance and the availability of resources in the high mountains depending on the season.

Represented mountain is mount Mondolè, in the Maritimes Alps

Hand-stretched jute canvas, wooden frame, raw edges, final varnish, signed certificate of authenticity.
