Does an artist ever create without intent?
Actually, I did have an intent, when I began this pen and acrylic work many months ago, but somehow, it did not progress as I would have liked. I set it aside, and, although its presence was always a niggling reminder, I have to confess I forgot my original intent. Occasionally, I would add something, or overpaint something. Gradually, I believe I recognised a primordial 'soup', so I took up working on it again. A couple of days ago. I put the last dots on it, stood back, and declared:
"Enough is Enough"
