Artwork inspired by the "bacchanal," a Roman festivity dating back to the 2nd century BC that derived from rituals dedicated to Bacchus, believed to propitiate the gods at the time of planting and harvesting of crops. Similar to the cult of Dionysus in Greece, this was also reserved for initiates only (originally only women, the "Bacchae") with mystical purposes. The work is dedicated to the character, multifacetedness, strength and delicacy of the feminine world in harmony with wine, understood as a work of art concerning life and the earth, with a complex, full-bodied, deep, enveloping and intense scent like an embrace.
