Original artwork description:

The space tells the story here, as does the other sister painting called "Divorce". However, I'm hoping the small figures here are a bit more positive than the other painting. I am willing to admit that while they were planned at the same time, I wanted to create this one as a counterweight to the Divorce painting. I could not leave that one hanging by itself. While I do accept reality, I am a glass-half-full person.

So this painting is not complete without the sister painting "Divorce", and I do want to make a special discounted offer if you wish to have both of them, but I will not blame you if you take this one by itself.

Many hours of straight lines on this work as well, and delicate shading operations.

Materials used:

Birch wood panel, oil, gesso
