These 3 paintings entitled 'Energy', 'Energy 1' and 'Energy 2' were all created in quite a spontaneous way. I had a basic idea of portraying energy bursting outwards and therefore I kept the process quite raw to go with the theme. I used masking tape to create the structure of the composition and the colours were picked for their vibrancy; chosen according to the colours that come into my mind when I think of the word 'energy'.
