Original artwork description:

'Endings... Beginnings' is a focal point canvas which brings warmth & relaxation into a room. It captures the golden hour just before sunset when the sunlight sends dapples of glow through the wild meadow.

As I painted the meadow, bathed in golden light, my min d kept going to though ts of what the end of something means to me & how starting anew can lead to the fulfilment of dreams or ambitions.
So often endings are seen as something to mourn or miss, but letting go of things is so the first step onto a new path which brings opportunity & joy.
What we learn & take from any experience enriches us in knowledge, understanding, a deeper sense of who we are. There are so many things which hold us back from achieving true potential, happiness, contentment, most often our owninner self beliefs which limit us from expanding into wonderful things.
There always has to be an ending for there to be a beginning. An end to poor choices to make good ones. An end to toxic relationships to make space for nourishing ones. An end to believing you can’t do something in order to be able to. So many endings in place, thoughts, people, actions.
When we put an end to the things holding us back, we can begin the things which make us blossom.
This season of Autumn, when Naturebrings an end to the years flowering. Ending the seasons of growth & blossoming it creates the seeds to generate a new beginning once the slumber season ends.
There are so many patterns in our lives which keep repeating in different ways & it’s so hard to work out that the only thing keeping those patterns in place is our own deep routed belief that that’s how things are. Digging deep to uncover those limiting core beliefs can create a chance to end them, to replace them with something more powerful, positive & promising. Ending them opens the doors to beginning a completely new sense of what we can be, what we can do, how we can flourish
So the endings can be celebrated too, even if they feel painful. They are just a wonderful gift which takes us to somewhere we don’t believe we could go.
Blooming heck, I do get all deep & contemplative at this time of year…. Happens every year. A season to mull over putting things to bed & getting ready to wake up inspired.
