Original artwork description:

During the strictest of the Covid lockdowns, we were not permitted to go beyond 1km from residence. This provided an opportunity to paint one of the fields close to home towards the end of the day, with a certain gratitude that I had nature on my doorstep.

Painted in an impressionist manner using professional oil paints, it is painted on canvasboard (canvas attached to board) and left for at least a year before being varnished.

Materials used:

Oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
