This painting represents a corner of my favorite Fontainebleau forest in France.
Famously, the landscape painters of Barbizon school found abundant inspiration there.
The thousand-year-old rocks, all different and resembling imaginary animals, are known throughout the world because of rock climbing. here they are surrounded by birches and pines, like in a fairy tale and at any moment Little Riding Hood could appear in the background...
