Can I leave my mind blank? Or what is the same, can I disconnect my brain? Obviously not, just like I can't stop my lungs, heart, or kidneys when I please. But if I can try to develop a thought in which there are no interior interferences, acting in a state of semi-consciousness in which only one reflects in the subconscious and this is transmitted directly to the canvas.

Decomposing each of these insights and turning them into drawing or painting is the meaning of this series of works. In which there is no sketch and
where everything happens in that same moment, the good, the bad, life. The only self-imposed rule being the following of a cadence to the rhythm of a virtual metronome in order to avoid interference.

There are widely valued artistic styles that personally do not convey any emotion to me beyond the recognition of a skill or talent. I greatly appreciate the bravery of the artist who, despite having extensive technical knowledge, puts his expressiveness before his technical ability. Classic and contemporary artists to whom I am infinitely grateful for having moved me.
