Original artwork description:

I am drawn by the angles dancers create with their feet and continually go back to ballerina's on pointe. I've painted this with a very simple pallet, trying my best to draw the eye to the wonderful shape of the weight baring foot as the dancer uses her arches to support all her weight on her toes.
The painting is based on the wonderful Mexican dancer Made Leon Sosa, who I'm endlessly grateful to for her inspiration and generosity.


This painting is framed in solidly made, 55 ml wide, frame painted in dark grey. The painting is painted on MDF board and mounted on card.Frame was professionally made to order by Frames Express.
