Predominantly blues, greys and white acrylic paints, applied mostly with a palette knife, to create texture and a more modern interpretation of a classic pet portrait.
The edges of the canvas are painted dark blue so that it can be hung on the wall without being framed, and it is finished with a coat of matt satin varnish.
